Franksmile is bringing you the clearest, simplest and most effective way to straighten your teeth, it’s that simple. So how can we take you from where you are: Unhappy with your smile and unconfident about the alignment of your teeth. To where you want to be: Confident and happy with your smile and ready to face anyone or anything that comes your way.
1. First impressions...
It all starts with our IMPRESSION KIT. This helps our qualified dentists to see your teeth with absolute clarity and precisely plot their realignment journey from where they are, to where they’ll be at the end of the process. You can receive the impression kit straight to your door. Find out more about the process in detail HERE, but for now, let’s just say that the results of this convenient at-home process will give us all the information we need to create your treatment plan and aligners. 2. Your own personal Dentist
After completing and returning your Impression Kit, your unique case will be assigned to one of our qualified dentists. They will use your impressions to create a 3D digital model of your new smile. This 3D model will then be used to build your aligners and treatment plan. You’ll receive the same personalised treatment that you’d expect from much higher cost aligners but at home, without the need to travel and wait in surgeries. If you’re happy with the treatment plan designed by your Dentist then you can buy your aligners and begin the journey to your ideal smile.
Our Aligner treatment plans costs £1499, with financing options available that starts at just £37.34 per month, making them at least 65% cheaper than braces.
3. Things might feel a little… different.
Even though the process is simple, it’s good to know what it will feel like every step of the way. Your aligner has a very important job to do. One day at a time it will be guiding your teeth from their current position in your mouth to a new one. This means that, with all that adjustment, you may experience some uncomfortable sensations or, at worst, some mild pain and soreness. This is absolutely normal and is a natural result of leading your teeth to their new position. One good way to think of this is the way we think of pain after some tough exercise. Our legs might be sore, our muscles could ache and you may feel a little discomfort. But it doesn’t worry you, because you know it’s simply your body responding to a positive change. After a few months of consistent exercise you will see the results in your body. You’ll see the results every time you look in the mirror. IT’s just the same with Franksmile’s aligner treatment. Whilst you’ll experience a little discomfort from time to time, you can think of it as evidence that your new smile is on the way!
4. Power up your water intake!
You’re going to get used to wearing your aligners all the time. The only time you’ll take them out will be to eat or drink something other than cool water. If you do fancy a cup of tea, coffee or another soft drink then you’ll need to make sure you rinse your aligner and brush your teeth before putting them back in. It’s not a chore when you eat or drink, drinking a lot of hot drinks everyday will just mean a lot of ‘in and out’. With the new found convenience of drinking cool water, most of our customers find they actually start hitting their target of 8 glasses of water a day. Who knew fixing your smile could be so good for you!
5. Hello, great hygiene.
An indirect result of the process will be a new focus on your dental health. The fact you have to remain mindful of your aligners will naturally lead to you paying more attention to brushing and flossing, a habit that’ll stick with you for the rest of your life. It’s all about putting your attention on your new smile and giving it the care it deserves. After all, your life is going to improve dramatically when it arrives so you should start taking care of it right away. We’d recommend using mouthwash too, though keep it clear so it has less impact on the colour of your teeth.
It’s not just your teeth that could do with a little love. We’d recommend soaking your aligner in a mix of warm water and soap for around half an hour every week, to make sure they’re in the best shape to help you on your journey!
6. Six months to a new you.
The journey to your new smile should take around 6 months. In that period your aligners will be constantly nudging your teeth to their new position. Once that’s done, we’ll provide you with a retainer. This ensures that your teeth stay where we’ve guided them and you can ‘retain’ the exceptional new smile you’ve worked so hard to get.
Retainers are worn constantly for the first two weeks and then only at night. They’re an essential part of the process and whilst you’d normally expect to pay an additional fee for them at Franksmile they’re complementary. ----------------
We’re really excited to help guide you to your new smile and we think the process is incredibly simple. From creating a model of your teeth to building your aligner and supporting you throughout the 6 month (on average) journey to your new smile, we want this to be as easy as possible. However, we do realise what a big step this is for you, so if you have any other questions we have a dedicated Customer Support team on hand to help get you the answers you’re looking for.
